Our Mission Statement
That Harper Kid NFP was founded in 2019 by Chicago native, Linnae Harper, a professional athlete and advocate for underprivileged youth in the city. That Harper Kid NFP exist to educate, empower, and enhance the next generations of youth,through mentorship, community engagement, and athletic development. Through our programs, we plan to create a system that breaks barriers, build character, and bridge gaps between underserved communities and accessible resources. We are committed to building a platform where every youth and family feels valued, seen, and heard.
Programs
LEGACY SPORTS ACADEMY
Develops student-athletes by combining sports training with life lessons through teamwork, discipline, and character. This program builds a foundation of excellence from early childhood through high school. Our main sport are basketball and flag football.
COMMUNITY SPARK
Through unity, we bring families together through annual events that provide resources, celebrate culture, and uplift underserved communities. We host annual back-to-school events and toy drives for underserved communities on the South Side.
MENTOR RISE
Equips youth with leadership skills, confidence, and guidance needed to grow into resilient leaders. This program focuses on personal development, academic success, and community engagement.
